Featuring the startling image of a skull sporting a Sheriff's hat. Two rifles are depicted crossed over one another -- completing the image with a very Jolly Roger-esque flourish. The Western Skulls collection consists of six rounds adapted from the familiar US American Silver Eagle, with a twist. Each is a unique western archetype, rendered as a highly detailed skull. ### Old West Sheriff | ![American Skull - Sheriff Antique](https://www.osbornemint.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Western%20Skulls/American%20Skull%20-%20Sheriff%20Antique.jpg?width=200&name=American%20Skull%20-%20Sheriff%20Antique.jpg) | ![American Skull - Sheriff Proof colorized badge cutout APPROVED](https://www.osbornemint.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Western%20Skulls/American%20Skull%20-%20Sheriff%20Proof%20colorized%20badge%20cutout%20APPROVED.jpg?width=200&name=American%20Skull%20-%20Sheriff%20Proof%20colorized%20badge%20cutout%20APPROVED.jpg) | ![American Skull - Sheriff Proof](https://www.osbornemint.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Western%20Skulls/American%20Skull%20-%20Sheriff%20Proof.jpg?width=200&name=American%20Skull%20-%20Sheriff%20Proof.jpg) | | --- | --- | --- | | Antique | Colorized | Proof | The common reverse of the American Western Skulls silver rounds feature the design that will be used throughout the series. ![Western Skull - 5oz Antique Reverse](https://www.osbornemint.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Western%20Skulls/American%20Skull%20-%205oz%20Antique%20Reverse.jpg?width=200&name=American%20Skull%20-%205oz%20Antique%20Reverse.jpg)Referred to as the fried eagle, this image is a clever twist on the heraldic eagle found on the reverse of American Silver Eagle coins. It features the American bald eagle’s skeletal form behind the national shield as it clutches the arrows of war in one talon and the olive branch of peace in the other.
