Countries no longer back their currencies with physical commodities. Modern currencies are backed by the “full faith & credit’ of the issuing government. We represent a number of sovereign nations with access to the Dollar, Pound Sterling, and Euro.
Additional costs and lead times are necessary for country backed currency. The issuing country will also require design input and approval. We cannot guarantee a country backed currency as it is design dependent. Inquiries are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Osborne offers a grading guarantee using your preferred grading service. Coins under this guarantee will have percentage of a given quantity grade at 70. There is an additional charge for this service, and it must be requested AT THE TME OF ORDER. Costs are determined at the time of request based on customer’s needs. Once the order has been placed, grading is not an option. We will send the coins directly to your preferred grading service (typically NGC or PCGS) from our production facility.
Why should you have your coins/rounds graded?
Osborne offers both sequential numbering and hallmarking on rounds. Sequential numbering can be done of the edge of a round or on the surface. Hallmarking is stamped or engraved on the round's edge.
Osborne offers certificates of authenticity to go with their gold and silver rounds/bars for an additional charge. Certificates can be individually numbered, individually numbered with the full mintage or without numbering. There is an additional charge for certificats of authenticity.
Osborne offers several packaging options.
